Student of D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University Duissenbekova Aigerim (group 13-BE-1) won contest and was among 20 best students of economic specialties of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan to participate in a series of events Spring Astana Economic School as part of the Astana Economic Forum 2016.

May, 25-26 in Astana hosted an annual event in sphere of economic and political life of region - Astana Economic Forum. The main theme of AEF-2016 was "new economic reality: diversification, innovation and knowledge economy." One of the main objectives of high-level platform was to find ways to introduce this new model in various national economies, including Kazakhstan. The main speakers of the forum were the Nobel Prize in economics, prominent businessmen and leading experts.

Selection of the best students was conducted by the National Analysis Centre of the competition. Preference was given to the contestants with a good knowledge of English. 

This forum was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan; The Ministry of National Economy; Nazarbayev University; JSC "Economic Research Institute"; JSC "National Analytical Center".

On May 27, was held a solemn delivery of certificates on the results of Spring Astana Economic School.
