In early October, in D.Serikbaev East Kazakhstan State Technical University there were held celebrations devoted to the 50th anniversary of architectural education in Eastern Kazakhstan.

In the frame of anniversary celebration in University was held a series of celebration devoted to this important date. Honorary guests and former undergraduates of the university took part. In the lobby of the main building, an exhibition of projects and works of current students and graduates of D.Serikbayev EKSTU were presented. At this day was also held solemn opening event in honor of the Rector - D.Serikbayev EKSTU, Doctor of Architecture, Professor – A.K. Sidorov, as well as the classroom of his name.

Ceremonies ended with a round table dedicated to the International Day of Architecture "Trends in the development of architectural education in Kazakhstan."
