On April 27, City Olympiad for draftsmanship for pupils of 9-11th grades took place in D. Serikbayev EKSTU. The event was organized by the lecturers of the “Architecture and Design” Department, Career Center’s staff, and Vocational Guidance Work Department of the university. Olympiad was participated by almost 80 pupils from Ust-Kamenogorsk (Oskemen) and rural schools.
Students of secondary schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk were offered tasks on high complexity drawing. We’d like to remind that this subject is not currently included in the school curriculum, but its knowledge is necessary for specialists working in production.
Final works of the pupils was evaluated by the commission, which included lecturers of the university’s “Architecture and Design” Department, M. Chalkenov, O. Gurskaya, M. Kozhuhovskaya, and Career Center Director, K. Saipollauly.
