ЕKTU teachers took part in the VI international conference INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INNOVATION AND TECHNOPRENEURSHIP ICIT 2023 «Embracing Transformation on Innovation and Creativity for a Sustainable Futur» which took place in INTI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY Nilai, Malaysia.
An agreement on cooperation and mutual understanding was signed between the universities.
The participants of the conference were represented from such countries as: Hungary, Ukraine, Australia, Philippines, Bangladesh and other countries of south-east Asia.
The relevance of the topic aroused the interest of the working group dealing with the issues of "The National Model of Advanced Engineering Education and its Role in the Technological Modernization of Kazakhstan" at the university. Colleagues shared their experience at the session «Education and Lifelong learning» with the theme: «State Policy for The Development Of Engineering Education In The Republic Of Kazakhstan».
Considering that a memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between ЕKTU and INTI University, colleagues discussed issues of joint work that are aimed at:
- academic mobility of students, including participation in scholarship programs from INTI;
- internship for teachers and conducting research work at the university (duration from 2 to 3 months);
- special programs for doctoral and master's degree students;
- joint research projects and their publications in high-ranking journals;
- the direction of medical engineering is of particular interest.
Attended the meeting Prof. Dr. Goh Khang Wen - Global Engagement, Pro Vice Chancellor. He spoke about the direction of the university, prospects and achievements. The professor noted EKTU as a promising partner for cooperation in these areas.
