On the 30th of August 2016, Ust-Kamenogorsk citizens gathered at Republic square to mark the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On this day citizens and guests of Ust-Kamenogorsk watched a parade of workforces, theatrical performance, sport competitions,trade fair andexhibition of local craftsmen.

Akimof the region DaniyalAkhmetov congratulatedon important dayfor our country.  - The basic law begins with the words "We are the people of Kazakhstan». These words reflect the main value – the unity of multi-ethnic, multi-religious people of the country. According to the words of our President NursultanNazarbayev, our Constitution gives us the main thing - the right choice, to create our lives by ourselves – is more valuable than any treasure, - Danial Akhmetov said.

Meeting and greeting of the Olympians were the main parts of the holiday. The head of the region DaniyalAkhmetov congratulated our athletes. Olga Rypakova,  the bronze winner in the triple jump was handed the keys to the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and a cash award in the amount of 50 thousand US dollars. The weightlifter Denis Ulanov, who took fourth place, was gifted by an apartment. Other participants of the Olympics from East Kazakhstan region were awarded certificates at the annual scholarship of Akim of the region.

After official part there was concert and tradeat Republic square.
