On the 19th of September there was the opening of languages decade, devoted to 25-anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Independence at D. Serikbaev EKSTU. Students and teachers got together in the foyer of the University during the lunch break. Conferencier spoke three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. The event program included Kazakh dance "Kara zhorga", Russian and English dancing. Everybody was interested in and had a fun. At the end of the event everyone was treated to shashu and showed a video about Kazakhstan.

Please be reminded, the Day of languages of Kazakhstan people was declared by Presidential decree dated 20th of January 1998 and became a common holiday for all Kazakhstanis. 15 nations and nationalities went to D. Serikbayev EKSTU. The Head of State has set us the task to speak three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English, not forgetting native. Today trilingual education is received great attention from the state. The project "Trilingualism – the formula for success" has been launched at  D. Serikbayev EKSTU since 201. It is aimed to develop multilingual education. The greatest wealth of people is the language.
