On April 4, 2018, summarizing of the essay contest "The Book of N. Nazarbayev" The Era of Independence "through the eyes of a conscious citizen", organized by the Scientific Library and the Public Department of the Assembly of the Kazakhstan’s nations, took place. Contest was aimed at creating an atmosphere that fosters the development of students' and youth's ideas about spiritual development, future professional activity, the conditions for their self-expression and abilities in scientific research.

Contest was participated by 12 students of 1st and 2nd year of our university. As the results of the contests, prizes, diplomas and memorable gifts were awarded.

The winners of contests were:

• 1st place - Ayazhan Seriktayeva, 1st course student , group 17-МКК-1
• 2nd place - Irina Rodionova, 1st year student, group 17-БЖ-1
• 3rd place - Anuar Tyulyubayev, 2nd year student, group  16-ГД-1
