Today an international online seminar "Green University" took place at EKTU named after D. Serikbayev in the framework of the Science Week.

In the modern world with its many challenges Kazakhstan, like all other countries, has a responsibility to preserve a favorable environment, life and health of its citizens.

Today the seminar "Green University" was organized jointly with the world rating of universities UI Green Metric. As speakers were invited public organizations of Kazakhstan, which carry out their activities in the direction of environmental initiatives and sustainability. Colleagues from leading Russian universities, which have extensive experience in implementing environmental policies, were also invited.

Among the listeners of the online seminar were 56 participants from 10 Kazakhstani universities, 8 universities from Indonesia and Malaysia, 3 Russian universities.
