The research team consisting of the project supervisor, candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Sadenova Marzhan Anuarbekovna, principal researcher, candidate of technical sciences, professor Kulenova Natalia Anatolievna and junior researcher Beisekenov Nail Alikula visited the Agricultural University of Athens (Athens, Greece) to establish cooperation with leading scientists - agricultural scientists: PhD Ilias Travlos, professor Dimitrios Tsitsigiannis and others.
In February 2023, a scientific team of the project on the basis of LLP "ALSI-AZIA-SYSTEM", an official representative of DJI Enterprise in the Republic of Kazakhstan, got acquainted with the software to create 2D/3D terrain models and tested the purchased specialized equipment (photo illustrations are attached).
The spring field season of April - May 2023 began with drone surveying of the partner farm areas to create a digital terrain model, a 3D terrain model, assessment of vegetation indices of winter wheat development and other works in accordance with the schedule.
The Lidar DJI point cloud survey results are shown below

The 2022 field season was started by the scientific team of the project with meetings with the heads of the OHMK and Yernar farms in the East Kazakhstan region.
In accordance with the purpose and objectives of the project "Development of scientific and methodological approaches to the introduction of remote sensing (ERS) technologies for improving agricultural management", scientists have developed electronic maps of data fields of agricultural enterprises with coordinate reference to the terrain, with field contours and designation of crops in the crop rotation of the current field The updated maps were printed on the plotter of the university and handed over to the partners in the farms.
Top-priority issues were discussed at the meetings: the choice of sowing crops in crop rotation, specification of field numbering, their area and location, features of agrotechnical measures for the coming season.
In accordance with the action plan for 2022, scientists and farmers considered the possibility of introducing earth remote sensing (ERS) technologies in the current field season. An exchange of views was held on the choice and acquisition of modern technical means, incl. unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) equipped with multispectral cameras for shooting crops, thrusters for sowing complexes, GPS trackers, an analyzer for diagnosing plants for the presence of essential nutrients, etc.
Together we specified the timing of sowing crops, taking into account the soil and climatic conditions in the foothill regions of Altai.
Based on the results of the meetings, it should be noted the interest of all parties, the desire to constructively use all available resources and fulfill the current tasks of the project.
