The Higher IT College of the EKTU has a volunteer club «Nurly Zhurek», which is aimed at the development and popularization of volunteer activities, socially useful activities among students.

The form of organization of the Club's work:

• organization of the work of students in an animal shelter;
• environmental volunteering, attracting students to participate in
• environmental actions, involving them in environmental activities;
• organization of events aimed at educating students of ecological culture, proper disposal of garbage;
• assistance in organizing international events (forums, festivals, sports contests);
• assistance in the work of persons engaged in tourist activities when organizing sightseeing activities (visiting museums, libraries and other attractions of the city) in order to develop tourism;
• participation in the work of local youth resource centers during republican and city events with volunteers;
• inclusive education;
• tutoring (languages, computer literacy);
• work with underage children of deviant behavior;
• organization of yard and sports clubs;
• social work with children, the elderly and the disabled;
• work in the field of environmental protection and environmental safety, preservation of objects of historical and cultural heritage;
• participation in the work of public and private social organizations providing services to patients, the elderly.

Everyone who wants to join the college can become volunteers.
