Center of Competence and Technology Transfer in the field of water management and water use

The laboratory "Hydraulics" of the Center for Competence and Technology Transfer in the field of water management and water use is an educational and production base for the implementation of a practice-oriented model of education in the educational programs of the bachelor's degree "Water Resources and Water Use" and "Engineering Systems and Networks", the master's degree "Water Supply and Sewerage".
The laboratory "Hydraulics" is a base for research work of students, undergraduates and employees. The laboratory was created to form the creative potential of students and undergraduates who are able to professionally observe, investigate and analyze hydraulic processes in production conditions.
The direction of the laboratory's activity:
- overcoming the gap between practical and theoretical education in the educational process through the development of technical knowledge skills among students and undergraduates;
- assistance to the educational process in the following disciplines: for bachelors - Hydraulics, Hydro-gas dynamics, Channel hydraulics, Hydraulics and aerodynamics; for undergraduates - Hydrodynamics of water supply and sanitation systems and structures, Experimental studies of hydrodynamic and hydrochemical processes;
- practical study of materials obtained at theoretical lectures, allowing students and undergraduates to master the basics of hydraulics, hydraulic processes and hydrodynamics;
- using the results of laboratory studies conducted by students during industrial practices at industrial enterprises;
