• Research in the field of sustainable development and green initiatives;
• Research of natural environments (air, water, sediments and soil, biota) in the zone of influence of metallurgical industries;
• Monitoring and management of flows of climatically active gases in the ecosystems of industrial cities, representative ecosystems of East Kazakhstan region, enterprises and organizations with the formation of carbon-free models;
• The use of isotope methods in the research of anthropogenic impacts on the environment;
• Research of the radiation background of aerosols in the surface layer of the atmosphere of an industrial city;
• Development of projects for the processing of industrial and consumer waste (industrial waste, solid waste, paper, plastic, organic waste).
