Activities of the Work-Study Laboratory (WSL) in the field of GIS-technologies, remote sensing and geodesy is aimed at practical training of students and gaining experience in production activities, as well as performing scientific and production works in the application of remote sensing data, GIS-technologies and geodesy. The WSL in the field of GIS-technologies, remote sensing and geodesy is a platform for students to undergo educational, industrial, pre-diploma, research practices, carry out laboratory works and research on modern equipment. Individual study plans include disciplines requested by employers for in-depth or interdisciplinary study of issues necessary for successful employment.

The modern laboratory facilities of the WSL and teaching staff with practical experience provide the professional competences required for the applied solution of interdisciplinary problems based on practice-oriented learning.
