"Zerde" Club - created at the Sub-Department of history of Kazakhstan and socio-political disciplines, at the faculty of Liberal Arts. In accordance with the requirements of the time, the relevance of the problem of improving the quality of consciousness and pragmatism increases.
The goal of the club is to provide students with additional knowledge in the Humanities, to ensure that young people are responsible for the development of a diverse nation that is resistant to the challenges of globalization. The work is focusing on a deeper acquaintance with the 100 best textbooks in the world. It is planned to demonstrate the role of future specialists in educational institutions, government, business, non-governmental organizations and society, and provide various materials that lead to critical thinking and intellectual discussions.
The Head of the club is Sadvakasova Zhanar Amangalievna, head of the Sub-Department of history of Kazakhstan and SPD. The club is designed for active and educated students.
Events held within the club in the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 academic year:
1. In September, 2-year students were invited as members of the club "Zerde". Together with the students of groups 19-GTK, a meeting was organized on the BBB platform in order to get acquainted with the work of the club. The club deals with various topics of interest to students. The questions of politics, the meaning of life, news of the branches of science, the problems of globalization, the topic of national consciousness are touched upon. The club has over 20 students.
2. On October 7, 2020, club members were invited to take part in the republican local history webinar "Tugan zher - altyn besigim", organized by the department "History of Kazakhstan and socio-political disciplines". During the webinar, the study and preservation of the historical heritage of Kazakhstan, the current local history works of East Kazakhstan region were discussed.
3.On October 13, 2020, in connection with the 90th anniversary of the honorary professor of our university, Evgeny Ivanovich Grigoriev, a round table was held “Adam bol! Abai and E.I. Grigoriev”, where students were invited to take part in this event. E.I. Grigoriev for many years studied the teachings of Abai, the works of Alash leaders.
4. On October 30, 2020, at an event dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great Abai, organized by the "Abai club" KazATK named after S. Seifullin, Astana, members of the Zerde club took part. The event was held in an online format for writing poetry and expressive reading. The competition was attended by students of the universities of Shymkent, Nur-Sultan, Arkalyk and Ust-Kamenogorsk. The 3rd place in the competition was taken by Tokan Nurdana, a student of group 19 - GFMK-1.
5. In November 2020, a meeting in the format of "Evening tea" was held on the topic "Philosophical research in the heritage of Akzhan Al-Mashani" to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi, organized by the Kazakh Agro Technical University named after S. Seifullin together with the Abai Philosophical Club. Members of the club "Altyn besik - Muztau" and "Zerde" of the University took an active part. Students of the group 19-TFK-1 Kenzhebek Ulzhan, 19-GFMK-1 Kairbayeva Sagynysh spoke about the biography of the scientist, their reports were highly appreciated among students and scientists, recommendations were given for further engaging in science.
6. On November 27, club members took part in the international local history webinar "Historical local history in East Kazakhstan: traditions and prospects" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of R.S. Fedorov, organized by D. Serikbayev EKTU and S. Amanzholov EKSU.
7. On November 28, the leaders of the clubs "Altyn besik - Muztau" and "Zerde" organized a lecture "One country, one destiny", dedicated to 1 December - the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Themed videos were shown and discussed.
8. On January 28, 2021, members of the club and 2nd year students were given a lecture on Kazakhstan's contribution to global politics. Measures were discussed for the Republic of Kazakhstan to abandon nuclear weapons, close the Semipalatinsk test site, and conduct peace negotiations in relations with Syria.
In honor of the 1150th anniversary of Al-Farabi, who became the "second teacher of the world", in the central city library named after O. Bokey held a scientific seminar "Orkenyet shyrakshysy". The seminar was conducted under the guidance of Abdygalieva L., Associate Professor of the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and socio-political disciplines", Candidate of Philosophical Sciences. The event was attended by Mamykanova B.K., Candidate of philosophical sciences, library readers and students of East Kazakhstan Technical University, as well as members of the intellectual cognitive club "Zerde", created under the leadership of senior teacher Zh.A. Sadvakasova.
