At the sub-department we carry out purposeful work on enhancement of pedagogic process, regularly fulfill action plan of the University on upbringing college kids. We conduct interesting meetings with leading scientists and professionals in the area of information technology, Open Door days, so that one may learn more about his/her future profession. There are held events related to fighting drugs, smoking and AIDS.The undergraduates of our branch of study actively take part in student self-government bodies. Every year our students participate in scientific student conferences, in subject Olympics, in events and contest “1C-Career”. As teachers, so students are concerned so that the best school leavers enrolled in our specialty courses. The undergraduates actively take part in cultural events of the University like “Freshmen’s Talents”, “Student Springtime”, “Student Initiation”, and many other events.The faculty by their own example engage young people in leading healthy life-style. Teachers of the department hold talks and lectures for students living in the dormitory № 3.

The following are the examples of social events held at the sub-department:

  • mailing grateful letters to the parents of the students who study with “good” and “excellent” grades;
  • making contacts with the parents of the students who flanked;
  • individual work with students in order to prevent offenses;
  • engaging students in research, participation in science conferences, international conferences, in subject Olympics;
  • involving students in the work of students’ self-government, Youth Affairs Committee, trade union;
  • involving students in participation in events related to Constitution Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Day of Unity of Peoples of Kazakhstan, as well as “Freshmen’s Talents”, “Student Springtime”, and subbotniks;
  • organizing student participation in festive and cultural events of the University;
  • sharing participation in “Assistance to the Needy”
  • holding the matical curator’s classes.
