The purpose of the educational program:

To provide students with high-quality education focused on the production and maintenance of technological machines and equipment (by industry), including knowledge, skills and practical skills in design methods, manufacturing technologies and operation of technological machines and equipment. Training of a practice-oriented specialist with knowledge and skills in the design, manufacture and operation of mining machines and equipment, practical skills in the implementation of technological processes and production management.

Areas of professional activity are operation, design, construction, and production of mining machinery and equipment.

Professional activities are research, development, design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, maintenance, repair of technological machines and equipment.

Functions of professional activity:

1. Head of department:

•  strategic management and management of the work of the structural unit of the enterprise;
•  organization and control of the results of the activity of the structural unit of the enterprise.

2. Design engineer:

•  design and engineering of mining machines and equipment;
•  design of technological equipment for the production, maintenance and repair of mining machinery and equipment.

3. Process engineer:

•  development of technological processes for the production of mining machines and equipment;
•  preparation, start-up, adjustment and management of technological processes for the production of mining machines and equipment.

4. Engineer for the operation and repair of mining machines and equipment:

•  management of the operation and repair of mining machines and equipment of the enterprise;
•  management of the fleet of machines and equipment of the enterprise.

5. Mechanic:

•  ensuring the good condition of mining machines and equipment;
•  ensuring the good condition of technological equipment for the production, maintenance and repair of mining machines and equipment;
•  control over the consumption of material and technical resources.

Objects of professional activity are commercial and non-profit organizations and associations that require professional knowledge in the field of mining machinery and equipment: mines, mines, quarries, urban underground construction enterprises, processing plants, machine-building and repair-mechanical enterprises, design and development and research organizations.

Students take an active part in competitions of student research papers, in Republican and International scientific conferences of young scientists and students.

At the Republican subject Olympiads in their specialty, students annually win prizes.

During the period of study, our students actively participate in the life of the university, and also represent the university at regional, republican and international competitions.

After graduation, the student is awarded an academic bachelor's degree in the educational program 6B07106 - Technological machines and equipment (by industry).

After graduating from the bachelor's degree, graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in the magistracy of EKSTU in the specialty 6B07106 - Technological machines and equipment (by industry).
