We are pleased to announce a series of upcoming training sessions aimed at strengthening the teaching capacity of our Central Asian (CA) partners. These international events will take place from March 11 to March 27, 2025, across three prestigious locations: Napoli, Bielefeld, and Santiago de Compostela. Each institution will host a four-day session, fostering a collaborative exchange of expertise between EU partners and CA project participants on the successful integration of Circular Economy (CE) principles into educational frameworks.

Purpose and Objectives

The primary goal of this initiative is to provide access to developed project materials for beneficiary universities and future users. During the material development phase, an electronic platform will facilitate discussions among project partners, enabling them to contribute insights and refine educational content collaboratively.

This training series presents a unique opportunity for educators, sustainability advocates, and policymakers who are committed to embedding Circular Economy concepts into higher education curricula. Through collaborative learning and shared experiences, we aim to advance sustainability education and capacity building.

The sessions will focus on equipping CA educators with the skills needed to develop courses, design curricula, and create instructional materials. Key topics include:

  1. Territorial and Urban Characteristics
  2. Systemic Approaches to Sustainability
  3. Territorial and Urban Components of Competitiveness
  4. Sustainability and Competitiveness Indices
  5. Sustainability and Competitiveness Ranking of CA Countries
  6. Corporate Environmental Management
  7. Corporate Climate Management
  8. Fundamentals of Circular Economy
  9. Sustainability Policies in Circular Economy
  10. Circular Sustainable Entrepreneurship
  11. Circular Sustainable Business Models

Recognizing the importance of accessibility, we will provide live streaming of the workshops for remote participants. Additionally, recorded sessions will be made available post-event to ensure educators worldwide can benefit from this initiative.
