On November 25 and 26, 2021 in the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University a meeting of Erasmus+ project partners was held in the framework of MIETC project implementation. The purpose of this project is to build the capacity of human capital in universities in Central Asia in the field of industrial entrepreneurship in order to provide students with skills and competencies that meet the needs of the labor market.

The event was attended by representatives of the project «Development of a master's program in industrial entrepreneurship management for countries in transition» (MIETC) from Spain, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

On November 25 during the meeting there was a discussion of the content of the new educational master's program «Technological Entrepreneurship», which will be implemented jointly with the Karagandy University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. The project partners discussed the goals and results of the educational program, the competencies received, the disciplines and the target audience.

On November 26 a workshop with stakeholders of East Kazakhstan region was held, where the project partners from Spain – representatives of «AYeconomics» company presented the analysis of labor market results. In turn, employers shared their views on the training of engineering personnel with entrepreneurial skills.

As part of the workshop, employers presented real cases in which they proposed various solutions. Businessmen actively discussed the raised questions and offered their variants of the organization of training and passing of practices of students and undergraduates. All proposed solutions were noted by the project coordinators and will be taken into account in the formation of the educational program «Technological Entrepreneurship».

At the end of the event, the Erasmus+ project partners and guests got acquainted with the scientific and educational infrastructure and facilities of the university.
