Center for marketing and foresight

Center for Marketing and Foresight (CMF) - a structural unit of the university, was created in 2018.

The goal of the Center is to conduct marketing research aimed at improving the effectiveness of the Strategic Development Program of D.Serikbayev EKSTU and forecasting the activities of the university.

The Center is responsible for:

  • conducting marketing research to improve the effectiveness of educational and scientific activities of the university;
  • marketing planning and foresight.

CMF functions:

  • marketing support of educational programs and university services;
  • conducting marketing research to promote the university in the market of educational services (branding, pricing, etc.);
  • conducting marketing research of current trends in the development of industry markets and searching for promising areas of research activities of the university at the regional and national levels;
  • assistance in the preparation and implementation of promising social projects for LEB with the participation of the university, focused on society and business;
  • provision of information materials, operational comments and expert opinions for the media, state and public organizations, commercial structures.

Work results:

Since June 2018 Until December 2019, 17 marketing studies were completed for the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of East Kazakhstan region, D. Serikbaev EKSTU, including:

  • Assessment of the regional demand for higher education specialists (on the example of D. Serikbaev EKSTU).
  • New world trends in the main areas of specialist training at D. Serikbayev EKSTU.
  • Distribution of state educational grants by region of the Republic of Kazakhstan analysis.
  • Assessment of the regional relevance of new educational programs D. Serikbayev EKSTU, implemented since 2019.
  • Improving the internal effectiveness of the university and introducing changes in the activities of the university.
  • An analytical review of the state of income and expenses on educational activities of the university (on the example of D. Serikbayev EKSTU).
  • Pharmaceutical market of Kazakhstan.
  • The market of household appliances in Kazakhstan.
  • Phytoproducts production in Kazakhstan.
  • Analysis of the results of the rating of NPP “ATAMEKEN” (2018) for educational programs of EKSTU named after D. Serikbaev and others.
