Description: Study of course conditioned by her enormous role in strengthening of the Kazakhstan identity, consciousness of people, realization of the tasks related to the necessity of intellectual jerk for a new millennium. Kazakhstan society must possess a spiritual and ideological basis for successful realization of the sets aim«Ruhani ghangyru» program.

Goal
- Izucheniye ob"yektivnykh istoricheskikh znaniy ob osnovnykh etapakh istorii sovremennogo Kazakhstana; napravleniye vnimaniya studentov na problemy stanovleniya i razvitiya gosudarstvennosti i istoriko-kul'turnykh protsessov. the study of objective historical knowledge about the main stages of the history of modern Kazakhstan; directing students' attention to the problems of the formation and development of statehood and historical and cultural processes.
Objective
- 1) systematization of historical knowledge about the main events of modern history, forming a scientific worldview and civic position;2) the formation of a scientifically based concept of the history of the modern Fatherland, based on a holistic and objective coverage of the problems of ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people, the evolution of forms of statehood and civilization on the territory of the Great Steppe and the totality of the most significant historical factors and events; filling with the real scientific and historical content of the Kazakhstan development model during the period of accelerated modernization of the republic’s output in the direction of economic, ideological and cultural self-sufficiency.

- Application of knowledge and concepts. Be able to demonstrate a critical analysis of past historical events and scenes, connect them with the world-historical development of mankind on the basis of retrospective, comparative-historical and other scientific research methods;

- Judgment. Teaching the skills of analytical and axiological analysis in teaching complex historical processes, phenomena and activities of historical figures of modern Kazakhstan

Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
The final grade is calculated by the formula:
