Goal
- Mastering professional skills in the design of the architectural environment, mastering methods for developing artistic and graphic elements and substantive organization of the workplace.
Objective
- mastering the skills of formulating a project task taking into account socio-functional factors;
- mastering design methods for realizing an artistic concept;
- understanding the methodological basis for organizing the design process;
- analysis of the effectiveness of applied design methods in professional activities.

- understand the relationship between artistic and aesthetic solutions and the functional and technological basis of the subject environment;

- apply the skills of pre-design analysis, searching for an artistic image, developing a compositional and functional solution, determining ergonomic characteristics;

- compare options for project proposals and evaluate the artistic idea and image of the project;

- discuss and justify creative ideas in design, justify the adopted design decisions;

Teaching methods
use of subject technology of search clauzes;
the use of problem-based learning, focused on independent search for the necessary information based on the source material given by the teacher;
use of information and communication technologies during the educational process.
Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

Evaluation form
The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
The final grade is calculated by the formula:
