Goal

• Development of the socio-humanitarian worldview of students within the framework of the National idea of spiritual modernization, aimed at progress based on national consciousness and cultural heritage. The course is aimed at the formation of such qualities as internationalism and tolerance to international cultures and languages, which act as providers of knowledge and modern technologies at the international level. Their use and transfer can contribute to both the modernization of the country and the personal growth of future specialists.

Objective

• 1.achieving a high level of skill in various types of speech activity according to the level of training B2. 2.development and improvement of language skills for communication in everyday life, in the social and cultural spheres, as well as in the professional environment (Level B2). 3.formation of skills in creating oral and written texts depending on communicative tasks and the specifics of professional activity (level B2).

Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding

• 1. make the right choice and use language and speech tools to solve certain tasks of communication and cognition based on the possession of a sufficient amount of vocabulary, a system of grammatical knowledge. 2. interpret the information of the text, explain the stylistic and genre specifics of the texts of socio-cultural, socio-political, official business and professional spheres of communication.

• 1. to build programs of speech behavior in situations of personal, social and professional communication in accordance with the norms of language, culture and the specifics of the sphere of communication, 2. to compose everyday, socio-cultural, official and business texts in accordance with generally accepted norms, functional orientation, using lexical, grammatical and pragmatic material in accordance with the purpose

• 1. discuss ethical, cultural and socially significant issues in discussions, express your point of view, defend it in a reasoned manner and critically evaluate the opinions of your interlocutors., 2. participate in communication in various situations of various spheres of communication in order to realize your own intentions and needs, stating them ethically correctly, meaningfully fully, lexically-grammatically and pragmatically adequate to the situation

• 1. transfer the content of texts, describe the knowledge of both the entire text and its individual structural elements, 2. provide information in accordance with the communication situation, evaluate the actions of communicants, use information as a tool of influence in the communication process

Assessment of the student's knowledge

Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:

• 40% of the examination result;
• 60% of current control result.
