Final assessment method | 2. Written exam: 1st block - closed test questions (10 min); 2nd block - open test questions (35 min); 3rd block - lexical and grammatical work with text (55 min). Duration of the exam is 1 hour 40 minutes. The examination material consists of 40% theoretical material and 60% practical material. The student has passed the module if the final grade is above 50%. |

Goal
- Development of the socio-humanitarian worldview of students within the framework of the National idea of spiritual modernization, aimed at progress based on national consciousness and cultural heritage. The course is aimed at the formation of such qualities as internationalism and tolerance to international cultures and languages, which act as providers of knowledge and modern technologies at the international level. Their use and transfer can contribute to both the modernization of the country and the personal growth of future specialists.
Objective
- 1.achieving a high level of skill in various types of speech activity according to the level of training B2. 2.development and improvement of language skills for communication in everyday life, in the social and cultural spheres, as well as in the professional environment (Level B2). 3.formation of skills in creating oral and written texts depending on communicative tasks and the specifics of professional activity (level B2).

- 1. make the right choice and use language and speech tools to solve certain tasks of communication and cognition based on the possession of a sufficient amount of vocabulary, a system of grammatical knowledge. 2. interpret the information of the text, explain the stylistic and genre specifics of the texts of socio-cultural, socio-political, official business and professional spheres of communication.

Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
