Description: The discipline deals with intersectoral rules on labor protection during the operation of electrical installations, the effect of electric current on the human body, classification of electrical installations and premises for electrical safety, analysis of the conditions of human electric shock, permissible contact voltages and currents through a person, purpose, principle of operation of protective grounding, zeroing, devices of protective shutdown of electrical installations and conditions of their use.

Goal
  • Creation of safe conditions in work areas - development and implementation of measures of electrical protection of a person and his environment from dangerous influences; - design of electrical protection of equipment and technological processes in accordance with modern requirements for the safety of their operation; - stability of the functioning of economic facilities and electrical systems
Objective
  • Study of the requirements of electrical safety standards for machinery and technological process. Familiarization with the methods of assessing the electrical safety of technological equipment, the study of existing means of electrical protection during the operation of technological equipment and facilities. To study the basic methods of calculating the parameters of electrical means and protection equipment. - mastering the methods of identifying and analyzing the electrical safety conditions of equipment operation, forecasting and preventing accidents.
