Organization of transportation of specific cargoes
Description: The discipline provides for the study of the issues of effective use of vehicles in the organization of the process of delivery of dangerous, bulky, heavy loads; the choice of rolling stock; coordination of the work of cars and loading and unloading points, regulatory documents providing for the responsibility of cargo owners and carriers, risks and measures to prevent them, sanctions for violations of transportation conditions are considered.

Goal
- The purpose of the discipline is to study the theoretical foundations and methods of organizing the delivery of dangerous, bulky, heavy goods by road, acquiring practical skills in planning and managing the transport process, developing transport and technological systems for cargo delivery.
Objective
- The main objectives of studying the discipline are: to know the basic theoretical provisions on the organization of the cargo delivery process; to be able to use theoretical knowledge to create conditions conducive to improving the efficiency of the transportation process; to acquire practical skills in solving engineering problems in the organization of transportation of specific types of cargo.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- To know the specifics of road freight transportation of dangerous, bulky, heavy loads; organization of drivers' working hours; intercity cargo transportation; coordination of the work of cars and loading and unloading points.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- The implementation of a competent and reasonable choice of rolling stock according to the transported goods, the development of rational routes for the movement of vehicles, the implementation of a competent and reasonable calculation of the technical and operational performance of the car.

- apply modern information technologies, methods of mathematical analysis and modeling when performing calculations and various studies; the ability to use fundamental and latest achievements in transport; the ability to find organizational and managerial solutions in production situations.
