Goal
- The development of psychological thinking of students on the basis of studying and mastering the knowledge of the course of general psychology, the formation of skills and abilities of a systematic analysis of psychological phenomena in the process of seminars and practical classes.
Objective
- To give a holistic view of the most significant theoretical concepts, empirical research and the main provisions of general, social, developmental and educational psychology; - develop psychological and pedagogical thinking; - to strengthen the applied orientation of the course for.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- Knows the basic concepts of the principles of the functioning of the psyche; - psychological macrostructure and components of the categories "man", "personality"; - various aspects of the application of theories of psychology in practice.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
- Conducts special research on topical life problems; - knows how to plan work on self-change and self-development; - composes research projects at the intersection of psychology and specialty.

- Forms the main systems of psychological concepts and ideas about modern psychology as a holistic picture in the scientific thinking of students.

- Realization of the desire for self-knowledge and self-change, development of skills to analyze psychological concepts and real life problems that arise in a person with the involvement of knowledge of psychology and their successful solution on this basis; - independent analysis and formulation of problems, planning work to solve this problem; independent selection of the methods of action necessary to solve the problem, registration of the results of work in the form of a report, their public presentation and protection; – The ability to quickly adapt the basic patterns of mental activity in professional activities; – the ability to use the fundamental and latest achievements in psychology; – the ability to find organizational and managerial decisions, taking into account the human factor in production situations.
Teaching methods
Interactive lecture (using the following active forms of learning: guided (guided) discussion or conversation; moderation; demonstration of slides or educational films; brainstorming; motivational speech); - construction of scenarios for the development of various situations based on given conditions; - search and research (independent research activities of students in the learning process); - solving educational problems.
Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

If the question is of practical importance, the student must answer it from the point of view of a specialist in his field. | "GOOD"(70-89) is given to a student who firmly knows the program material, including lecture material, competently and substantially answers the question of the seminar and does not allow significant inaccuracies. Evaluation form
The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
