Design of chemical production facilities
Description: The course examines the fundamentals of the development, design and optimization of chemical production processes. The course covers the main stages of design: from conceptual design to detailed design and production implementation. The issues of the choice of technological processes, calculations and synthesis of equipment, as well as the specifics of the organization of safety, ecology and energy efficiency in chemical enterprises are considered. Important attention is paid to the analysis of technological flows, the choice of materials and the optimization of processes to increase their efficiency and minimize the impact on the environment. Students also get acquainted with the regulations and standards governing the design of chemical industries.
