Description: The study of the course is due to its huge role in strengthening the Kazakh identity, self-awareness of the people, the implementation of tasks related to the need for an intellectual breakthrough in the new millennium. Kazakh society must have a spiritual and ideological core for the successful implementation of the goals of the New Kazakhstan

Goal
- to provide objective knowledge about the main stages of the development of the history of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present
Objective
- 1) to familiarize students with the fundamental source and historiographical materials, as well as the achievements of modern historical science of Kazakhstan; 2) determine the role of the history of Kazakhstan in the system of humanitarian knowledge; 3) to identify the specifics of the object and subject of the history of Kazakhstan for the analysis of current problems of the modern stage of development. 4) creation of a scientifically grounded concept of the history of Kazakhstan based on a holistic and objective coverage of the main stages of the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people, the evolution of forms of statehood and civilization on the territory of the Great Steppe; 5) systematization of historical knowledge about the main events of modern history, forming a scientific worldview and civic position.

Teaching methods
1) interactive and digital technologies; 2) project-based teaching methods; 3) technology of problem-based learning; 4) gamification.
Assessment of the student's knowledge
Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

Evaluation form
The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:
- 40% of the examination result;
- 60% of current control result.
