Description: The course studies innovative materials and alloys used in cars, including body elements, in parts of units and assemblies, as well as for anti-corrosion treatment, noise insulation and interior finishing. Attention is paid to powder, ceramic, polymer and nanomaterials, additive manufacturing technologies and innovative methods of processing structural elements of cars. Students study the technology of manufacturing metal alloys and non-metallic materials, methods and means of their processing, methods of assessing their quality and properties. Students acquire the skills and abilities of processing materials and alloys, testing them, assessing their properties
