Nikiforov Vasiliy Lvovich graduated in 1971 from Tomsk Institute of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, speciality "Industrial Electronics", where he worked until 1980. In 1978 he graduated from the graduate school at the Institute, defended his thesis on the specialty 05.13.05.-Elements and devices of computer facilities and control systems.

In EKSTU Nikiforov V. has been working since 1980, firstly at the Department of "Electrical Engineering and Automation" in the position of a teacher and then as an associate professor. He was awarded Academic rank of assistant professor in 1986. After creating the department "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" in 1989 transferred to the position of associate professor of the department. In 2000 Nikiforov V. awarded the title of professor of EKSTU. Since 1997 until now he works as a professor at the department "Information systems and computer modeling".

No international experience.

At present Nikiforov V. is a leading teacher of disciplines "Algorithms and programming languages", "Programming on algorithmic languages", "Programming Technology" and "Programming of microprocessor systems." In addition to teaching he prepared and published more than 40 scientific and educational works.
