An International Student Competition in Information Technology “IT-planet 2011” (http://world-it-planet.org) was carried out in D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University for the first time.
Our University hosted 26 participants in two contests of the twelve schools of Kazakhstan.
EKSTU’ rector (member of the Board of Trustees of the Competition) Temirbyekov Nurlan Mukhanovich wished the participants and the teams good results in fair fight.
To hold the competition organizing committee was made. It was led by Mukhamyediyev Gabit Khamitovich (the dean of the Department of Information Technology and Energy). Also committee included the head of the Department of Information Systems Dyenisova Natalia Phyodorovna, master teacher the man who knows everything about holding the competitions Zagainov Ivan Alexandrovich and the leader of students team Kyznetsova Elena (the master of Information Systems, 10-NИС-2).
Coordinated team had not only to take part in competitions, but also learn to conduct regional tours of international competitions.
A graduated team led by Shelekhov Maxim (10-NBT-2) installed the necessary software in the classroom of "Altai" Technopark in which participants in four hours to do the job for competitions.
The second time Students of the department showed year excellent results when passing distance of the tour, and won six trips to Kazakhstan's finale:
Bogatyrev Vladimir Olegovich, 08-AT-1, the competition, "Programming the Oracle Java Olympic”;
Korabay Ulan Altynbekuly (08-AT-1), the competition of D-Link “Protocols, Services and Equipment";
Sagadieva Ainur Aybekovna, 08-IS-1, the competition, "Programming the 1C:Enterprise 8";
Iglikov Elvis Borisovich, 08-IS-1, the competition, "Programming the 1C: Enterprise 8";
Bublikov Alexey Alexandrovich, 10-NAT-10-1, 5, competition of D-Link “Protocols, Services and Equipment";
Auganbaev Ardak, 10-NAT-1, 5, competition of D-Link “Protocols, services and equipment.".
Three students of the Department showed excellent results. They will take a part in competition which will be held in Almaty on April 27 on the basis of the Kazakh-British Technical University, (www.kbtu.kz). The strongest students of Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Belarus will take part in the final competition this year.
Ulan Korabai turned out to be the happiest among the other members of competition. Who knew that exactly he will become a winner in the competition "The Protocols, Services and Equipment» (D-Link)?!
Fourth-year student was smarter than his opponents (Auganbaev Ardak, Bublikov Alexey). Alexey took only the six place. The diplomas were handed by chairman of the jury members (the representative of D-Link company Botazhan Zhumahanovich Bazarov, the city of Karaganda) and the head of the training center("1C-Rating" Natalya Nazarova).
Auganbaev Ardak, participating in the competition D-Link for the second time, took the second place, and was given a diploma of the winner, opening the way to the international finals, but also a prize given from the university.
The second competition, "The use of 1C: Accounting 8", attended by thirteen participants from all over Kazakhstan was conducted under the direction of a representative company"1C" Vyacheslav Alexandrovich Sapa.
Oksana Ivanova was the winner of this contest. She is a student of Kostanay State University named after Ahmet Baitursynov. Oksana won two prizes. The first from EKSTU and the second from "1C-Sapa" company (laptop brought from Almaty by the chairman of the jury).
After the ceremony the participants of the competition were invited to excursion to the East Kazakhstan Car delivery of "Asia-Auto." Excursion was organized by the representative of LLP "BIPEK AUTO" Samoilov, Alexander Grigoryevich.
Ust-Kamenogorsk visitors listened to the Svadbin Alexander Gennnadievich (director of production of JSC "Asia Auto") with great interest. He told about the assembly and testing of cars of different brands.
In the same time Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev spent final competition "Programming 1C: Enterprise 8." Where our fourth-year students Sagadieva Ainur and Iglikov Elvis took the second places.
So we have six finalists of International april competition in Almaty.
Representatives from nine universities were shown the buildings and laboratories of the University. Dyenisova N.F. showed the work of training-educational portal EKSTU.
So on holding this competition our university will join the universities co-organizers of the competition from cities such as Almaty, Astana, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Tomsk, Khabarovsk, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don, where more than ten thousand students took part.
