The future of metallurgy depends on competitive advantage through disruptive innovative technologies. Today, metallurgy is perhaps the most important industry. The result of the activity of metallurgists is clearly visible in everything that surrounds people and forms the basis for most areas of production. Over the past few years, leading metallurgical enterprises have been modernizing, simultaneously introducing technologies to reduce the harmful impact on the environment.

The course is aimed at studying the current state of the theory and practice of metal production, trends and prospects for the development of metallurgy, as well as familiarizing with the latest research methods, processing and interpreting data based on information technology, studying new methods of product quality control in metallurgy.

Purpose: Development of professional competencies in the mind of a correct understanding of the foundations of new metallurgical technologies. The acquired knowledge is interconnected with many aspects of future professional activity.
