The mining complex of Kazakhstan is the most important basic element of the national economy, plays a decisive role in it and is a supplier of most of the mineral raw materials and fuel. The mining industry is recognized as one of the priorities determining the economic potential of the country as a whole.
The main purpose of mining is to provide the company with mineral raw materials and preserve the underground space of the subsoil for further use. At the present stage, mining production should be considered as a system complex. Modern mining sciences are the guarantor for the construction and development of cost-effective and socially efficient mining industries. At the same time, the main practical goal of mining sciences should be fulfilled – the creation of high-intensity, automated, resource-saving, environmentally friendly and safe technologies.
The minor is intended for students of technical educational programs in order to form knowledge, skills and abilities that are necessary for the successful implementation of production and technological, organizational and managerial, research and project activities in the field of mining.
Purpose: to train highly qualified and competitive specialists who dynamically respond to the global challenges of our time, able to introduce and apply modern mining technologies, successfully combining knowledge in the field of geology, surveying, information, GIS technologies, economics of planning and management for the purpose of rational and efficient mining.
