At D.Serikbayev East-Kazakhstan State technical University there was held "Fair of specialists-2017".

More than hundred heads and representatives of large enterprises, government agencies, educational institutions, small and medium business participated in the fair. The University introduced over 1000 graduates in 68 bachelor and master’s degree specialties. The participants were provided with jobs for group and individual interviews. This event gave rise to an open and effective collaboration of young professionals with potential employers and to allow companies to quality staff recruitment based on objective information about the learning process and student performance.

At the end of "Fair of specialists 2017" there were concluded 82 contracts on employment of graduates with businesses and organizations. 193 young specialists will be taken the interview. Large industrial enterprises, such as "Kazzinc", JSC "UK TMK", LLP "Kazgiprotsvetmet", LLP "BIPEK-AUTO", etc are interested in the University's graduates.

According to the ongoing monitoring of the level of employment of University graduates is over 82 percent. At EKSTU for several years there is practiced target training of specialists by orders of the large enterprises.

During the fair, there was a demonstration of separate innovative projects, models and prototypes of devices of graduates 2017.

LLP BIPEK-Avto organized a Business game called "Best graduate" for all specialties of the University.

EKSTU systematically monitors the labour market and in the training of specialists considers the relevance and competitiveness of its graduates. In recent years this work has become multidimensional, which allows the flexibility to build curriculum at the University. Annual fair of specialists is the most important event of employment.
