University student Olympiad held among students of the first and second courses of all specialties of the university organized by the East regional center of the International club "Abay and XXI century" in D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state university "Abay is genius, Abay is unique".

At the opening ceremony of the Olympiad the Director of the House of friendship of the East Kazakhstan region - Eldar Tolebekov, the Chairman of the Board of supervisors and advisors, the candidate of sociological sciences, the docent of "Philosophy and problems of human development" department of D. Serikbayev EKSTU - Eleonora Stolyarova, the candidate of historical sciences, the head of "Philosophy and problems of human development" department of D. Serikbayev EKSTU - Nelli Krassnobayeva, the Doctor of philological sciences, the docent of "Kazakh and Russian languages and office administration" department of D. Serikbayev EKSTU - Kulzhibek Kessmanova applied to the participants with the speech of welcome.

As the head of the East regional centre of the International club "Abay and XXI century" - Laura Abdygaliyeva noted that the purpose of the handling Olympiad is to explore the heritage of the great poet and philosopher, social facient - Abay Kunanbayev, as well as realization the humanitarian activities of students of technical specialties and identify among them the most well-read, creative and active.
