On the morning of May 9, thousands of citizens gathered for the "Immortal Regiment" action. The event was also attended by representatives of D. Serikbayev EKSTU.

Hundreds of people arrived in the place with portraits of fathers, grandfathers, who fought in the fields of the World War II. During the procession, folk songs were performed and the orchestra played. Also for the audience, they staged a theatrical performance on military themes.

The regiment completed the procession at the Memorial of Glory, where the ceremony of flowers laying to the Eternal Flame had begun.
