As part of the implementation of the "green" project of EKTU "Recycling inside" to create a system of integrated waste processing (plastic, paper, organic), a machine for processing plastic bottles into a filament for a 3D printer was put into operation. This production site is a student startup for plastic recycling "Replastic" and is supported by EKTU. To work, the student was given a place in the laboratory of the Competence Center of Environment Protection and Life Safety. The machine was assembled by a student using Open Source technology, but all components were selected independently, setup and commissioning were also carried out by the student. The first samples of the filament have been obtained, which will soon be tested for printing on a 3D printer.
