The Presidium meeting of Ust-Kamenogorsk town branch of the Republican public Association "Organization of veterans" held in D. Serikbayev EKSTU. Vice - rector on educational work and social development of the university - Zhaksykeldy Nazbiev, Chairman of Ust-Kamenogorsk town branch of the Republican public Association "Organization of veterans" - Ivan Gubarev, Chairman of the primary organization of EKSTU veterans - Lyubov Sergienko, members of the Presidium of town Council of veterans and primary veteran organization of the University took part in the event.

Lyubov Sergienko in her speech told about the main objectives and activities of the primary veteran organization of the University, and also about the ongoing preparations for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.

Chairman of the cultural-mass and sports Commission of the town Council of veterans - Raissa Zotova informed about the preparation and holding of the festival of the amateur talent groups of primary veteran organizations in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War, the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 20th anniversary of Assembly of Kazakhstan People and 550th anniversary of the Kazakh khanate.

At the end of the meeting Chairman of the town Council of veterans - Ivan Gubarev announced the information about the resolution of the regional Council of veterans "About conducting report election campaign in veteran organizations in 2015".
