There was a training "Energy management and energy audit of industrial and municipal facilities" in the framework of the cooperative project of AES and GIZ on training safety in the workplace and energy efficiency for sustainable development of the East Kazakhstan region.
The training was conducted by an invited expert from Ukraine Chernyavsky Anatoly Vladimirovich - associate Professor of Institute of energy saving and energy management Sub-Department of National technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", a certified energy auditor, lead auditor of energy management systems according to ISO 50001.
The training was attended by teachers of the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, Ust-Kamenogorsk Polytechnical College, as well as employees of AES businesses in Kazakhstan, responsible for safety and labor protection.
In the framework of the training covered the following issues:
- The concept of energy management system
- Review of international standards (ISO 50000 energy management system
- Coverage and scope of the energy management system of the company
- Energy planning: Planned and actual indicators of the efficiency of the company according to standard ISO 50006
- Energy audit and its role in the energy management system
- Balance of consumption of fuel and energy resources, its purpose, classification, and structure
- Determination of the separate constituents of energy balances for industrial and municipal objects
- System of accounting and monitoring of energy consumption in the company. Methods of measurement and measurement program
- Energy performance certificates of the company and building energy passport
- Benchmarking of energy efficiency. The best available technology and the best practical technology. Determination of energy saving potential
- Typical energy saving projects in the elements and systems of energy resources consumption, their monitoring and measurement according to standard ISO 50015.
In addition to theoretical material, A. Chernyavsky conducted practical exercises in the computer lab, where the participants could carry out calculations, draw graphs and apply in practice the acquired knowledge.
After the end of the training all participants were tested and got certificates.
