D.Serikbayev EKSTU opened doors for freshmen again. Under the banner of the faculties all the participants went to the lecture hall, where the freshmen met with deans of faculties, teachers, curators of the groups and students.

After the lesson of the Constitution on the place of EKSTU was a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge.

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Biology, Professor Zhasulan Shaimardanov.

- Dear colleagues, dear guests and university freshmen! I congratulate you on the start of the new academic year! With the Day of Knowledge! Our university is one of the best universities in the country. We have a high quality of teaching which prepared excellent staff and because of this, graduates of D.Serikbayev EKSTU in demand all over the country. To the students who came on the program "Serpіn 2050" I wish to find a second motherland. I hope that in the future the image of our university will grow because we have all preconditions and opportunities. I wish you all good health and great success! - said Zhasulan Kudaibergenovich.

With the words of congratulations addressed student of forth year study of the Faculty of Geosciences, winner of the mark "Altyn Belgi-2012" Nazerke Tohtarbekova who wished students to desire to move forward, and this knowledge that you got in university was intended to achieve personal well-being and on the development of their home country.

Gathered on behalf of the freshmen were congratulated: Medet Ezhelbaev who is the winner of the mark "Altyn Belgi-2015" and Ayana Abiyeva who is a student of first course that came on the program "Serpіn - 2050".
