Informal education in Kazakhstan is now a relatively young concept, but it has already become popular and accessible.

What is non-formal education? Non-formal education can be understood as any education received outside the formal education system. It is not necessarily confirmed by a diploma or any certificate of receipt, nor are institutions engaged in non-formal education required to have state licenses to conduct non-formal education programs and courses. Non-formal education can include courses, seminars, clubs, trainings, etc. This could be, for example, a course to improve the level of English or a course to improve qualifications.

The first and, probably, one of the most important advantages, as mentioned above, is the universal accessibility of education, regardless of age, gender, or level of education. Now everyone has the opportunity to gain knowledge. Non-formal education may be needed by different people and not only those who have completed higher education and want to improve their qualifications, but also people with different life circumstances, for example, young mothers who are returning to work and want to update their knowledge or people in old age. who wants to keep up with the times or catch up.

Another advantage that I would like to highlight is the effectiveness of training, since the main principles are accessibility and voluntariness. A person who wants to gain certain knowledge goes for it with high motivation and the desire to achieve good results.

Organizers can develop a very specific program based on the needs and interests of the learner, using different learning models, which again will increase the effectiveness of training.

Also, informal learning is less expensive than studying at a university.

Non-formal education is a new opportunity for people of different social status and workload. Now learning, increasing knowledge or improving skills in a certain area has become accessible and convenient.
