On June 5, the results of the most cited academic ranking - QS World University Rankings -2025, which is published annually by the International Analytical Agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), specializing in the analysis of the global higher education market, were released.
5,663 universities from all over the world took part in the sample, of which 1,503 universities from 106 countries entered the top ranking. For the first time, D. Serikbayev EKTU entered this rating last year, and again we are in the top ten in the country. This year we took the #951-1000 position among the 1503 best universities in the world.
VKTU has improved such indicators as academic reputation, the reputation of employers, the index of international collaborations, the ratio of the number of teachers and students, this year we plan to focus especially on such indicators as the achievements of graduates, the share of foreign teachers, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
We sincerely congratulate and thank each member of our friendly team, our partners with high results! After all, it was our teamwork, the desire for constant development and improvement, and the maximum involvement of the entire EKTU Otbasy team that brought decent results!!!
However, high places in global rankings are not an end in themselves for us. This is, first of all, an opportunity to receive an independent external assessment of the world's best experts on the effectiveness of the enormous work that the university carries out annually as part of its strategic development program, makes the university visible in the global academic community, and makes it possible to adjust the further course of development.
