At the beginning of March of this year, five students from Africa joined the number of students at EKTU named after D. Serikbayev: four from Nigeria and one from Liberia. The newly minted students of the university, as from a ship to the ball, immediately got to the Nauryz celebration! The guys visited the VR-yurt, tasted national food, and most importantly started their social integration with the celebration!

All the guys already have a wealth of experience, both in their studies and in the professional sphere. One of the students Felix has rich experience of study abroad, he prepares a theme of his research under the guidance of Rector Rakhmetullina S.Zh. Guys go to lectures, they actively learn Kazakh and Russian languages, in parallel attending student events, - Student Spring and so on. Some of them make humorous videos for our YouTube channel and for Tiktok.

It is worth noting that the guys are studying on a grant, which gives the opportunity to get higher education, live in a student's home and receive a monthly stipend. Guys are trained in Schools: Information Technology and Intelligent Systems; Mechanical Engineering.

They justify their choice by the fact that EKTU named after D.Serikbayev is the best technical university in Kazakhstan, equipped with a rich material and technical base, and Ust-Kamenogorsk is a city surrounded by picturesque nature and great potential in the industrial sector.
