The rating of educational programs of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted by the Atameken NPP, has ranked 29 educational programs of EKTU. 12 educational programs (41.4%) have entered the TOP-3 best in the country and a 16 (55.2%) of our programs have entered the TOP-5 best in the country.
1st place - 3 EPs: Geology and exploration of mineral deposits, Metallurgy, Water resources and water use.
2nd place - 5 EPs: Mathematical and computer modeling, Computer hardware and software, Thermal power engineering, Mineral processing, Land cadastre and land management.
3rd place- 4 EPs: Technical physics, Mining, Forest resources and forestry, Innovative safety management of natural and man-made emergencies.
4th place - 2 EPs: Medical engineering (Medical equipment), Life safety and environmental protection.
5th place-2 EPs: Architecture, Geodesy and cartography.
Compared to 2022, the share of EKTU's educational programs in the rating has increased in the TOP-5 from 52% to 55.2%, in the TOP-3 from 36% to 41.4%. Overall, the results of the Atameken NPP rating show that the university is training in demanded specialties, with a high level of competitiveness, meeting the requirements of employers and labor market demands.
It should be noted that EKTU ranks 1st among state universities in graduate employment - 94%.
