Project abstract

The research project devoted to the problem of gambling addiction among young people in Kazakhstan aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of this significant social phenomenon from the perspectives of sociology, economics and law. Gambling addiction has become a serious challenge with a profound impact on today's young generation. This initiative seeks to uncover the key factors, extent and characteristics of gambling addiction, especially among Kazakhstani youth. The research covers a wide range of aspects of gambling addiction, including theoretical and practical approaches to its study. Using regression analysis methods, the project will identify factors that predict gambling behavior and assess public opinion, attitudes and beliefs about gambling. This comprehensive approach will provide insight into the level of interest and involvement in gambling behavior of different social groups.

Moreover, the study will examine the impact of advertising and marketing strategies on the formation of gambling addiction, and analyze the accessibility and prevalence of gambling in different social contexts.

The project will also examine legal aspects, comparing Kazakhstani legislation with international best practices to identify potential risks and develop proposals to improve the regulatory framework. In addition, the effectiveness of existing prevention and treatment measures will be assessed to propose new approaches to information campaigns and social programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of game addiction.

By addressing these multifaceted challenges, the project will make a significant contribution to understanding and combating the problem of gambling addiction in Kazakhstan, contributing to the formation of a healthier society and the development of an effective information policy.

Objective of the project: development of a comprehensive understanding of gambling addiction as a socio-psychological phenomenon in Kazakhstan and the creation of effective methods for its prevention and regulation.
