Project abstract:
Modern education is developing rapidly towards digitalization. The development of information technology is becoming an important component of the educational process. Huge arrays of accumulated data allow for a comprehensive analysis of scientific and educational activities, social activity, career growth, and accumulated competencies.
This project involves the development of evidence-based approaches to the formation of a student's digital identity model based on an ontological approach for organizing personalized learning in a digital environment.
In accordance with the goal, the following tasks are formulated:
- research and analysis of theoretical and practical aspects of the concept of "Digital identity";
- conducting an empirical study to determine the main characteristics of a student's digital identity (academic, research, social spheres of activity) when building a "Digital Profile";
- building an ontological and logical model of learning in a digital environment for the formation of a personal trajectory and based on the formed competencies and the results of the courses studied;
- development of a methodology for the formation of training materials for the digital environment;
- building an intellectual model for assessing learning outcomes and formed competencies, taking into account the requirements of the professional environment (stakeholders, labor market);
- development of a universal student profile based on a digital identity model;
- development of a prototype of the “Digital Profile” system.
The end result of the project will be presented in the form of scientific and methodological foundations management _ the digital identity of the student within the framework of student-centered and continuing education in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The practical significance of the research results lies in the development of an ontological model for the formation of an individual learning trajectory, a model for assessing learning outcomes and formed competencies, taking into account the requirements of the professional environment and the digital profile of the student. The creation of a digital profile will make it possible to implement one of the most important components of the digital university ecosystem.
The main expected socio-economic effect is to increase the efficiency of training competitive specialists in the digital economy.
Goal:
The purpose of the study is to develop methodological foundations for managing the educational process in a digital environment, which allows, based on modern information technologies, to improve the quality of training by creating a digital identity of a student based on personalization, taking into account the requirements of the professional environment and the labor market.

Foreign experience in the formation of digital identity in higher education is systematized. A study and analysis of the key theoretical aspects of the concept of “student’s digital identity” in the context of modern education and information technology was carried out. An expert questionnaire has been developed to determine the main characteristics of students’ digital identity. Based on the analysis of the survey results, the main set of student characteristics for the formation of a Digital Profile was determined. To ensure full consideration of market requirements for the competencies of graduates of higher educational institutions, an ontology of the educational process in the direction of “Information and Communication Technologies” has been developed. When creating an ontological model of learning in a digital environment to build a personalized learning path, the competencies specified in existing educational programs and the labor market requirements reflected in professional standards are taken into account.
