Abstract

In Kazakhstan today, one of the key tasks of the industrial and innovative economy is the development of high-tech production to become our country on par with the leading economies of the world. Naturally, it is impossible to achieve this only through cash injections and technical re-equipment without paying close attention to the issues of training qualified personnel.

This project involves the development of strategic approaches to the formation of a model of advanced training of engineering personnel, based on the training of competitive graduates with competencies in demand in the labor market as part of the development of the industrial and innovative economy of Kazakhstan.

Project objective. Creation of a national model of advanced engineering education, providing a world-class professional qualification for the individual, a high level of technological sensitivity of society, guaranteeing economic, technical, and technological security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2022

1. The concepts of modern engineering education are systematized to ensure the necessary integrity, which can ensure the formation of a complex of competencies of a modern engineer.

2023

1. The analysis of the regional training of engineering personnel in the Republic of Kazakhstan is given to assess the transition of enterprises to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

2. A strategic document has been created regulating the development of engineering personnel training in Kazakhstan based on a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the national economy as a whole and the structural transformations taking place in it.

3. Publication of an article in a domestic publication recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science.

2024

1. Mechanisms of state support and regulation of technical education in Kazakhstan have been improved.

2. The national model of advanced engineering education based on the analysis of technological modernization of the main sectors of the economy is proposed. The model is multidimensional and structurally functional, includes structural components (target, methodological, procedural, reflexive and evaluative).

3. Publication of two theses in the proceedings of the international scientific conference.

4. Publication of an article in a domestic publication recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science.

5. Publication of one article in Citation Index, Arts and Humanities Citation Index and (or) Russian Science Citation Index of the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 35 (thirty-five).

6. Release of a collective monograph.
