Project goal:

assistance in activities aimed at uniting university graduates on the basis of the formation of interpersonal and corporate relationships, professional promotion and self-development, effective use of potential of graduates to strengthen the status of the University, popularization and promotion of University development.

Project results:

functioning Association of University Graduates; existing branches of the Association at the university schools; proper level of information support for the activities of the Association; promotion of the implementation of the main activities of the Association of Graduates.

Project start and completion dates:

• Project Start-December 2020
• Project Completion-December 2021

Available resources:

University Alumni Association, university graduates of past years, university staff, students, potential corporate partners and allies of the University

Required resources:

Working staff of the Presidium of the Alumni Association, responsible employees from the university schools for work with graduates, new members of the University Alumni Association, current website of the Alumni Association

Project risks:

• loss of the university graduates of all communication with the alma mater;
• lack of motivation among university graduates to maintain close ties with alma mater;
• unstable economic situation of the republic due to the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection.

Justification of project usefulness:

EKTU is one of the leading technical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan obliged to help graduates in finding interaction and establishing contact with EKTU.

EKTU should create a rich environment adapting to graduates to choose their way of interaction in the most convenient way in accordance with their ambitions.
