SDTB was created to engage students in research and design work in the fields of construction, architecture and design. The SDTB is working on general professional competencies related to the search for optimal architectural and constructive-technological solutions.

The goal of SDTB is to involve students and undergraduates in research work in the course, diploma projects and master's thesis, and the preparation of research papers for competitions.

The tasks of SDTB are to acquire skills to work with scientific and technical literature, with the rules of preparation of scientific articles, reports and presentations to the protection of graduate projects and master's thesis, scientific and technical conferences and seminars, and the design of scientific works.

Improving the competitive ability of graduates of architectural and construction specialties by introducing new BIM-design information technologies into the educational process.
