Center of Competence and Technology Transfer in the field of water management and water use

The laboratory "Integrated Water Resources Management" of the Center for Competence and Technology Transfer in the field of water management and Water Use is an educational and production base for the implementation of a practice-oriented model of education in the bachelor's degree programs "Water Resources and Water Use" and "Engineering Systems and Networks", master's degree "Water Supply and Sewerage".

The laboratory base and staff with extensive production and practical experience allow us to provide professional development services for employees of enterprises and organizations of the region, to conduct laboratory and applied research in the field of the water sector.

 

The direction of the laboratory's activity

  • bridging the gap between practical and theoretical education in the educational process by developing students' technical knowledge skills;
  • assistance to the educational process in the disciplines: Integrated use of water resources, Integrated management of water resources, Hydraulic structures, Design of elements of waterworks; Calculation of spillway structures; Channel hydraulics;
  • practical study of the materials obtained in theoretical lectures, allowing students to master the principles of operation of various elements of waterworks and water management systems;
  • using the results of laboratory studies conducted by students during industrial practices at industrial enterprises;
  • organization and holding of seminars, conferences, advanced training courses, "round tables" on the study of modern research methods, instruments and equipment during research work in the field of water management and water use.
