January 25, 2019 by order of the rector of the D. Serikbaev EKSTU based on the decision of the Academic Council of the University, the Faculty of Humanities Education was created.

From this date to September 2024 the Center of Language Competences Head was Sarsembayeva Araily Alibekovna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Higher Attestation Commission, Associate Professor. From September 2024 to present, Khassenova Lira Nurlanovna. Master of pedagogical Sciences is the Head.
